BioCAT ist seit 2002 ein alle zwei Jahre stattfindender Treffpunkt unserer Gemeinschaft und bringt Forscher und Innovatoren aus Wissenschaft und Industrie zusammen, um Durchbrüche zu teilen, Kooperationen aufzubauen und die nächste Generation der Biokatalyse zu inspirieren.

Das diesjährige Programm wird aufkommende Grenzen in unserem Fachgebiet hervorheben – von KI-gesteuerter Enzymtechnik und Reaktionsprognose, fortschrittlichen elektro-/Chemo-/photobiokatalytischen Kaskaden sowie Enzymmining und Metagenomik bis hin zu nicht-konventionellen Medien, modularer Bioprozesstechnik und Automatisierung, synthetischer Biologie & Ganzzellkatalyse sowie Biokatalyse für die zirkuläre Bioökonomie (einschließlich CO₂-Valorisierung und Kunststoff-Upcycling).
